Foo Fighters - Enough Space
One of my favourite Foo Fighters songs and the first one I dared to publicly scream along to. I was always quite reluctant to loudly sing along to songs (a friend once mocked me for singing a Nirvana song ‘too nicely’), but it changed when I went to a Foo Fighters gig in 2002. The trip to Amsterdam had been shit, because pretty much every train was cancelled, so I arrived way too late, I had to stand at the back and had to keep my coat on.
When they played this I just screamed away all my frustrations, and though I got some odd looks from the people in front of me, I was pleased to notice that I actually had some pretty good screamo-skillz.
I now scream along regularly and scare off all the men in my vicinity. -
Being ‘slightly’ drunk on whisky and air-drumming/sing along to the Foo Fighters’ live rendition of ‘Stairway to Heaven’s guitar solo is probably the must fun I’ve had all week. Oh wait, it’s only monday… anyhoo, it’s a good way to start the week.

I’m watching the Foo Fighters live @ pinkpop on telly right now. Goddamnit, I love that band and eventhough I’ve seen them live a couple of times, I still wish I was there right now. <3
I mean, quietly listening to pop music is cool and stuff, but sometimes I just want to stand in a crowd and scream my fucking lungs out and dance like an idiot. Waaaaargh!!!!

Just saw the Foo Fighters ‘Back & Forth’ documentary on TV and it reminded me of how much I used to love this band. Somewhere between ‘97 and ‘03 I was a massive fan and saved a gabillion pictures on my computer. I just refound the Foo Folder…
I haven’t really listened to much of their stuff after One By One, but my interests have been roused again. That new album sounds like it rocks!
